In the afternoon, take a gentle orientation walk and visit the iconic Tashichho Dzong — the seat of the Bhutanese government. Spend night in Thimphu.
After breakfast, explore Thimphu's landmarks: the Buddha Dordenma statue (51.5m), Folk Heritage Museum, National Textile Museum, and the vibrant Centenary Farmers' Market.
Hike to Cheri Monastery for panoramic views. Evening stroll along the Wang Chhu river. Spend night in Thimphu.
After breakfast, drive to Wangdue through the beautiful Dochula Pass (3,080m). The 108 Druk Wangyel Stupas are a sight to behold. Visit the magnificent Wangdue Dzong.
Later, drive to Phobjikha valley. Spend night in Gangtey.
After breakfast, visit the Black Necked Crane Visitor Centre. Visit Gangtey Goenpa monastery — one of Bhutan's most important Nyingmapa monasteries.
After lunch, drive to Punakha (1,400m). Spend night at Punakha.
After breakfast, visit Punakha Dzong via the Punakha Suspension Bridge for an exhilarating adventure.
After lunch, drive to Paro (3hr). Spend the evening exploring Paro town. Spend night in Paro.
After breakfast, drive to Haa through Chelela Pass (1 hour away). This picturesque pass features lush forests and waterfalls. Visit the sacred temples of Karpo Lhakhang and Lhakheng Nagpo. Spend night in Haa.
Hike Taktsang Goenpa (5 hours back and forth) — perched on a cliff 900m above the Paro valley floor. One of Bhutan's most sacred sites, visited by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646.
Afternoon stroll through Paro Town. Evening visit to Kyichu Lhakhang — the oldest temple in the country. Spend Night in Paro.
After breakfast, visit Paro town for mementos and souvenirs. Afterwards head to Paro International Airport. Our representative will help with exit formalities and bid you farewell with beautiful memories.
